Rosapenna Golf Resort
Located on the edge of the picturesque Sheephaven Bay, Rosapenna is the proud home to St. Patricks, recently names in the top 55 courses in the world. the Old Tom Morris Links designed by Old Tom Morris of St. Andrews in 1893 and a modern great in the Sandy Hills Links laid out by Pat Ruddy of The European Club fame and open for play since 2003. The new St Patrick’s Links by Tom Doak opened in June 2021 and is ranked number 55 in the GOLF Magazine Top 100 in the World rankings 2021-22.
Dunfanaghy Golf Course
Located on the western shores of Sheephaven Bay with its blue flag beaches and stunning scenery, Dunfanaghy Golf Club sits on the edge of the picturesque village of Dunfanaghy in the shadow of Muckish Mountain. Golf has been played on the seaside links of Dunfanaghy for over 100 years. The course was laid out in 1905 by Mr Harry Vardon, six times winner of the British Open. As a true links course, Dunfanaghy Golf Course offers year-round golfing.
Portsalon Golf Club
Golf has been played on the Portsalon links since the 1880’s.Originally designed by Charles Thompson of Portrush, the layout has evolved over the decades with significant changes being undertaken under the guidance of Pat Ruddy in 2000. The course is currently ranked in the top 25 courses in Ireland by Golf Digest, Nestled under the Knockalla mountains and stretching along the magnificent Ballymastocker beach, a true test of links golf presents itself.
